Scarlette noticed a little quaver in his voice. "No, I am. I thought you were gone and...I just got so lonely! DScarlette took over one day because I gave up on fighting her and Demon came around. You can guess how it went from there..." She looked up from his shirt. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked with a very sincere and caring tone of voice.

She bit her lip. She didn't want to tell him, but she figured he needed to know. "I think..." She took in a deep breath and let it out. "I think part of me is falling in love with him." Here it comes...This is it for sure. This is definitely going to be the straw to break the camels back. She cringed at the thought.
