Scarlette held her breath as they went down to the bottom of the pool. What is he doing??? Has he completely lost his mind?? She thought.

She wiped the water off of her eyes and spit some out that had gotten in her mouth and just looked at him. "May I ask what has gotten into you??" At first she looked genuinely scared and then a big grin spread across her face as she splashed him.

Scarlette stayed floating on the top, keeping a wary eye on him. She wasn't sure if he was just swimming or planning something ornery like pulling her under when she wasn't expecting it.

Scarlette swam over to the edge and started to climb out of the pool. She wanted to get a towel and dry her face off.
